Might be asthma: Your daugther may have cough variant asthma induced by exercise and/ or allergies and/or upper respiratory infections that she may get in the winter time. Her pediatrician would be able to listen to her history and her lungs and possibly do spirometry in the office to tell if an inhaler may help her.
