Gingivitis? Nasal?: If you're not coughing up the bloody saliva, it probably is coming from somewhere in the mouth or dripping down from the nose. If it's your mouth, maybe gingivitis (gum inflammation). Wherever it's coming from, this should be professionally checked; see your doctor. Need more info: What you describe sounds like she is coughing so hard that she has what is called "peticheae" (tiny bleeds into skin) on her forehead.
