Most likely not: It is not the illness that is the problem. Your body's immune system should be able to take care of the cough and cold symptoms. The problem would be if you were taking medicines in order to deal with those. The placenta is an amazing barrier, however, when you're pregnant, limit yourself to tylenol/fluids/bedrest and other non-med support measures. I would say NO: Herbs in Pregnancy is a huge topic. Hylands has about six herbs in it including Goldenseal which is generally considered to be contraindicated in pregnancy as it may cause premature contractions. Extra strengthtylenol (acetaminophen) is also ok; just take as directed on the label. Benadryl and other over the counter cold medicines, such as robitussin, dayquil, nyquil, etc and sudafed are safe as well.
