Unlikely: If this were costeachondritis I would expect it to have been resolved after three months. Injury to the muscles of the abdominal wall or a problem with your bowel is more plausible. I would seek another opinion from your healthcare provider. ...Read more

Probably you are ---: Re-injuring it again ; again. It happens all the time, but normally your brain doesn't register it, but when there is a tender spot, even a slightest touch to it, even unintentionally, will make it hurt.
Just be extra careful.
Pain meds, hot pad, support tape, muscle relaxers ; gentle exercises to strengthen the muscles, us, stretching exercises, will all be helpful.
