See a GI doctor: You need to be examined by a gastroenterologist. This may be due to diverticular disease, although unusual at your age, or possibly by some inflammatory process adjacent to the colon or rectum. Havent been feeling good for about the last 4-6 weeks. I have been having really bad upset stomach episodes that is accompanied with pain, also i'm having really bad cramps that is similar to a menstral cramp and a contraction. I've been having diarrhea a

I'm : I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. Unfortunately, it is not possible to be sure what is causing your symptoms. Certainly, frequent diarrhea lasting weeks is approaching 'chronic' and should be evaluated by a physician in person. I'm concerned that you are becoming dehydrated from your loose stool, causing your weakness and dizziness. Electrolytes can also become depleted. Pelvic pain may be from bowel irritation or infection and your stool should be tested, alone with some other basic labs. It is not uncommon for bowel inflammation to cause low back pain. There can also be non-infectious causes of your symptoms (thyroid disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, etc). I recommend making an appointment with a primary care physician or GI specialist and staying well hydrated until your visit. ...Read more

Contraction like cramps after food intake, yellow diarrhea stool for 2yrs which smells extremely like vomit. What could it be?

IBD: With that long a history of these symptoms, you need to have an examination and some stool studies, blood tests, and a colonoscopy at the very least to determine the reason for your symptoms. I would be suspicious of an Inflammatory Bowel Disease like Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis but could also be a chronic infection or irritable bowel disease. Get checked!!! ...Read more

I had really bad stomach cramps (contractions maybe?) with diarrhea is this a sign I will be going into labor in a few days? 37 weeks pregnant

Maybe: Sometimes when women are in early labor they will experience uncomfortable menstrual-like cramps with a little diarrhea. Diarrhea from other causes, like something you ate, can also cause cramping that can feel the same. Monitor for contractions that happen every 5 to 10 minutes and are starting to take your breath away or your water breaking. Call your doctor if you are not sure. ...Read more

It could: Give you Ob doctor a call and ask what they want you to do. If you just have a bug they might want to run some blood tests and have a look at you. If it's time to deliver, you will have the addled advantage of being in the right place at the right time. ...Read more

35 weeks and 3 days pregnant with watery diarrhea and off and on cramps and dull back pain?

Beware dehydration: Hi Hollie, During pregnancy, at anytime, we are concerned about dehydration. We lose lots of water with vomiting and diarrhea. When the bowel is over active, it will stimulate the uterus to contract. Pregnant ladies feel these contractions as cramping &/or back pain. Do not let this continue as this is bad for baby as well. ...Read more

I'm 36 weeks having menstrual like cramps and nausea and diarrhea with light fetal movement what could this be ?

I'm 36 weeks having menstrual like cramps and nausea and diarrhea with light fetal movement what could this be ?

Contractions: It sounds like you are having some contractions. This is expected at 36 weeks. If they are mild and irregular then this is called Braxton Hicks or false labor contractions. I am not sure what you mean by light fetal movement. If you mean decreased or absent fetal movement then you need to be seen in labor and delivery urgently. ...Read more
