Will your eyes continue to get worse if you continue using the computer even after you've become nearsighted?

Not related: There is no evidence that computer use increases nearsightedness. Nearsightedness continues to increase through the teen years and the middle twenties and then generally stops worsening. My eyes pressure was 28/16 before putting eye drops after which it came down to 14/14. Will I have to continue with the drops?

Depends: Most likely yes, if the concern is for gluacoma. A pressure of 28 is usullay too high for most eyes. 14 is more approprialte and will most likely prevent glaucoma from starting or progressing. You will most likely need to continue to take them. My 3 year old girl is very shy, she doesn't like people look at her, if so, she will close her eyes ot refuse to continue journey if we are outside?

Hmmm: Shyness has been found by kagan to have a strong genetic component, but learning is also important. Your daughter does need to learn to tolerate being among strangers. If it is difficult for you to tolerate your daughter's discomfort, a child behavior therapist can teach you "graduated" techniques that can relatively painlessly shape your daughter's emotional responses to strangers. As im diagnosed witn dry eyes, can i still continue to wear contact lens and put eye make up as it irritates the eyes?

2 Double whammies: Dry Eye syndrome with contact lens wear is a recipe for disaster. Then wearing mascara and eye makeup that flakes/ particles can get in the eyes, under the contact lens, and irritate the cornea and conjuctiva. See your eye doctor soon to discuss. You may not be an ideal CL wearer. Switch to glass now, and hold off of the eye make up until you've been evaluated. Then discuss options available. ...Read more

I used 1 drop of an old bottle of gentamicin drops for red eyes not relieved by antihistamine drops. Must I continue taking now, 4x/day for 5-7 days?

At least 5 days: Gentamicin is an effective antibiotic with no meaningful side effects when used topically on the eye. Lips have always been swollen in the morning, but now they continue throughout the day. Also, have bloated stomach and red eyes in the morning.?

Red Eyes/Swollen Lip: You may well have a hidden food allergy or a gluten sensitivity. I would make an appointment with your doctor and discuss your symptoms with a focus on identifying the underlying cause of the sensitivity. If it is a gluten sensitivity, this can be approached by adjusting your diet, as can a hidden food allergy by documenting what you eat and narrowing down the offending food(s). Good luck! ...Read more
