I've had pin head like rash on my ankles for about 1 wk. dr. Said contact dermatitis, I think petechae. No other symptoms. When should I worry?

You would need to: take a small amount of the product you think you may be allergic to and tape it on your forearm (not a lot or you could have a severe allergic reactioand if a rash appears there in the next 72 hours you are likely allergic to some component in that product. Contact dermatitis: You need to clean the area to avoid further contact. Steroid creams may be helpful. There are varying strengths. Your doctor can prescribe stronger creams that may work better than over the counter. It the rash does not respond to creams, steroid pills are also effective.
