You would need to: take a small amount of the product you think you may be allergic to and tape it on your forearm (not a lot or you could have a severe allergic reactioand if a rash appears there in the next 72 hours you are likely allergic to some component in that product. Yes: Spermacide, new dtergents, etc. Might try some Hydrocortisone cream and topical anesthetic if it's really bothering u and keel an eye out for ulcers or a yeast infection. Follow up...: You don't mention what they prescribed.It is also common to get fungal infections in that area which could also be a possibility.You may try anti fungal creams (like Lotrimin) and see how it responds if you have not done better with what was prescribed by the ED provider. If worse or not better make sure you see your doctor for further recommendations and referral to a specialists as needed. ...Read more
