Some chance: A small number of people who have Raynaud's also develop scleroderma.


Note the SMALL NUMBER.

Just keep up with your health providers recommendations for the Raynaud's and be vigilant.

? Dehydration: You may need to increase your intake of fiber and water. You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.

Wrong approach, Jim: There are a variety of causes of constipation. Only in a small minority of cases does endoscopy on either end show the cause. If drinking plenty of water, a stool softener, and roughage in the diet doesn't help, then it's time for a thyroid check, porphyria screen, Chagas? Dairy / cheese in diet? Meds? Pb poisoned?
