Constant Tickle In Back Of Throat
I have a cough from a cold, & since I woke up I haven't stopped coughing. There's a constant tickle in the back of my throat. Could this be serious?
Doctor can check: A person who cannot stop coughing needs to be evaluated and treated, by her doctor. Coughing should not be nonstop. Her doctor can examine her to see if there is something wrong in her throat, such as an unusual swelling. Her doctor can check the lungs to see if there is bronchospasm (which can be helped by inhalers), or any croupy barky symptoms. ...Read more

If it is more of a constant thing, then switch your daily antihistamine every 2-3 months to maintain the effect. ...Read more

You may be referred to some specialists as needed. Good Luck. ...Read more
