Need more info: What kind of implant? If it is a dental implant, then the problems are likely not related. If it is a birth control implant, such as nexplanon, then you need to see the doctor that inserted it. While unlikely, there could have been problems with that particular batch of implants. Problem: Menstrual bleeding of any kind should never last for more than 7 days. Any bleeding whether light spotting or normal flow is counted and therefore is indicating that a problem is present. Maybe: At age 16, there can be blood disorders like von willebrand's which can be associated with heavy constant bleeding. You may want to be tested for this. There could also be a lesion in your uterus that's responsible. Lastly, it could be a hormonal imbalance. If you've been bleeding that much you could also be anemic. I would see a doctor to discuss these things, and check thyroid too. Best! ...Read more
