I've had constant pain on the right side of my rib cage and across my middle back for the past 5 months. Several mri's show no damage. Suggestions?

Referred pain: If the exact area in question is evaluated and nothing is there, you can consider referred pain. There are organs in the abdomen that can irritate the phrenic nerve, the neck can have the origin of the phrenic nerve and the long thoracic nerves which supply the area and should be evaluated.
