Since I don't know you at all or how your pregnancy has been coursing for past 23 weeks this answer may not be taking into consideration many things but I need to say that pain as you describe is not uncommon in many pregnant women. An MD can help u : Are you saying it occurs more often with an irregular menstrual cycle? If so it very well could be related. Endometriosis, ovarian, uterine issues can all give you that pain. As can pregnancy. Does it feel like period cramps? How long does it last ? Do certain foods make it worse. Have you tried any meds? Does a bowel movement make it worse? Better? Get evaulation: I recommend that you start with a Gyn exam to assess whether you may have an ovarian cyst, or possible pelvic infection or endometriosis.
