Pressure neuropathy: is my best guess, based on your sleep position. Make sure you are not sleeping on your hand, or propping it up or on your chest. Does it eventually go away each day? If not, you could also have an odd pattern of carpal tunnel syndrome. Wear a wrist brace to sleep (not tight though) and see your doc if it persists. ...Read more

Numbness: Numbness of fingers can be due to pinching of nerves at the wrist such as seen in carpal tunnel syndrome. Since only the very tips of two fingers are involved, a localized neuropathy may be the cause. What can cause left side numbness? Left hand and foot are numb. Would come and go for a week. Now constant for 3 days.

Let me explain: There two possible ways to get numbness in both l hand and foot in the same time. 1-you some problem partially compressing your spinal cord in the neck area more on the left side. 2_possible two problems in the same time one effecting the arm and other effecting the foot(nerve problems) which unusual. See neurologist now: There are many possible explanations for pain and numbness: listen to your body's message. Extrinsic causes, such as certain activities, would usually not cause both L hand & leg numbness & L hand pain.
