Constant Indigestion Pain
Constant heartburn, nausea, indigestion, stomach pain, bloating, and loss of appetite. Family doctor takes forever to get appt. Any ideas?
GERD: Likely to be gastroesophageal reflux. Try starting OTC ompeprazole or similar. May add Zantac or Pepcid on top of that. Try using Maalox or Mylanta to see if you get any relief, even for just a minute or so. It can be helpful to your doctor to know if it helps or not, once you see the doc. Could this be some kind of indigestion, I have never had any before? Pain right at base of rib cage on both sides runs thru the center to the top of the sternum, came on fast, not constant can be a 7 to 8 on the pain scale at times. Seems like a few times

It hurts to eat or drink anything. I have severe gas and indigestion in my upper chest. Constant burning and more severe when i eat or drink any thing. Pain is 8 on (1-10) scale. Gaviscon and Pepcid are giving minimal temporary relief.

Could be serious: Although unlikely, you could have a retained gallstone which could be causing. this pain.
