Work up needed: The CT scan is reassuring, ruling out most structural abnormalities. Your problems suggest malabsorption, which would be more of a functional issue. A variety of conditions may account for your symptoms, from a simple vitamin deficiency to thyroid disorder, celiac disease to pancreatic insufficiency for example. A GI consult may help in clarifying your diagnosis.

Possibly normal: green stools are not uncommon. If you are concerned, seeing your personel physician or GP for a stool culture and bllod tests will help determine if this is truly okay.

Constipation: If you still feel constipated in the sense that you continue to have an urge and need for a satisfactory bowel movement, you may have some impacted hard stool with only liquid feces being expelled around it. If this is the case, try using a dulcolax rectal suppository and/or a fleets enema. Occasionally manual breaking up or extraction of hard, impacted stool is necessary in stubborn cases.

My stool is green and black. Should I be worried?

Possibly.: Green stool can be related to the foods we eat. If green and runny it may be due to transitting the GI tract too quickly. If black and tarry with a foul odor - that would be a cause to worry as that could be related to GI bleeding. Black stools can also be due to certain medications (notably pepto bismal). Regardless, changes to stool habitus warrant assessment.
