Reflux?: Many of my patients have this complaint. Acid reflux can come up to your throat and inflame the tissues of the voicebox(larynx) which are sensitive. Globus sensation: That is the medical term for what you are describing. Can be a very vexing problem. In some cases, it is due to occult reflux. Try some OTC Prilosec and see if if helps or not.
