Hyperventilating.: Are you hyperventilating? Are you having an asthma attack? An anxiety attack? Have you inhaled a fume or something like that? With shortness of breath, especially if hyperventilating, you can get tingling as you described. But your shortness of breath is worrisome, and it's cause should be elucidated. ...Read more

Nerve damage: Hopefully this will be temporary, but you did some damage to the nerve(s) that run between your elbow and hand. Probably a contusion: Sounds as though you may have an ulnar nerve contustion. The complaint you have listed are common after hitting your "funny bone". Could be: Symptoms as you describe could be coming from your neck, but also could be from your elbow. "the ulnar nerve (at the elbow) can be irritated in patients w/ medial epicondylitis, ulnar collateral ligament injuries, ulnar nerve entrapment, elbow fractures/ dislocations, or in some cases people have been known to experience a subluxation of the nerve".
