I was given a rubella vax just after my son was born. I then nursed him for months. He since has been diagnosed with autism. Connection?

No.: The alleged connection between vaccinations and autism in the same individual has been thoroughly discredited. Although antibodies are present in breast milk (on of its advantages over formula), that is a passive phenomenon, not something that would set off any type of reaction in your son's body. We don't know the cause (s) of autism, but this is not one of them. ...Read more

Is there a connection between which vaccine you take and autism?

Zero = None: Dr wakefield is a british adult GI doc that took 8 autistic kids lawyers sent him, did various tests ; published a paper in 1998 proposing a link to the mmr. I have never had problems until after my c-section now docs say I may have endometriosis is there a connection pain started 3 weeks post op 3yrs ago?

Good question: Since endometriosis is the presence outside the uterus inside your belly of the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus which grows every month to prepare for potential fetus and then is sloughed as a period if there is no conception, one could imagine that after c-section some of that tissue could seed the abdomen - this is definitely a question for ob/gyn - doctors? ...Read more

How is asperger’s syndrome related to autism?

How is asperger’s syndrome related to autism?

Related: Usually the Asperger patient has better language ability than the autistic patient. One could also consider them to be different sections of a spectrum of continuity. Some people call it high functioning autism. In my opinion the exact label doesn't matter a great deal, it is what are the needs of the child and make sure those needs are addressed. ...Read more
