Nopostnasal drip?: This could cause 1 sided throat pain. If not, see an ENT Dr. and get scoped in the nose to see the back of the throat. They should be able to diagnose your problems. If you do have postnasal drip, try flonase or rhinocort nasal spray and see if this helps. ...Read more

But i feared meningitis or any mental disorders ?

Cold and flu: Not a meningitis - if it were, it would be very unlikely that you would be asking about symptoms 3 days into the illness online. If you are still troubled by symptoms then visit your doctor. Evaluation for sinusitis would seem appropriate. ...Read more

Could i be experiencing allergies in winter season ? I feel ill no fever ! upset stomach, sinus congestion, sore throat, ear pain/pressure. Low appeti

Yes: You may be allergic to indoor allergens which include house dust mites, molds, pet etc. However upset stomach occurs only rarely mostly from profuse post-nasal drips. If your house has a humidifier in the furnace or anywhere, be sure to check for molds in the water compartment. You need to consult your doctor as well since there are many other answers. ...Read more

Cold: Those are all common symptoms of a cold that is usually caused by a virus. The only otc medication in studies to help with the common cold has been zinc lozenges if taken early enough. Sinus probs for full week w/fever,ear pain, congestion, cough. No fever now lightheaded,Cant catch a decent breath,Chest very heavy,no fever just cough?

Shortness of breath: These symptoms should be investigated formally by a doc. I hate to think of it, but sometimes after a viral infection, a bacterial infection can settle in as a one-two punch. Good you don't have fever, but maybe you're suppressing it with motrin/tylenol? I think you need a chest X-ray to make sure your lungs are OK. Hope you get some help there. ...Read more

I am just getting over a cold. I am experiencing ear pain in my left ear and sinus congestion and headache. Why am i getting new symptoms ?

Complicated: Cold and cough may have exacerbated tmj. Residual inflammation in eustachian tube may have lead to otitis media (hearing loss is key sign of this). If you have pain in the temples and on opening and closing of mouth - think tmj. Take some Motrin and softer foods. ...Read more

My ears are constantly popping, im not sick no congestion, no change in altitude. No ear pain and my ear drums are pearly white what could cause this?

It's all in the Tube: You may be having some eustachian tube dysfunction. That's our fancy word for the tube that connects your middle ear with the back of your throat. Simple way out may be to take some over-the-counter antihistamines like zyrtec, allegra, or Claritin (loratadine) for a couple of weeks and see if you are out of the woods by then. ...Read more
