Yes: There is a risk of pregnancy. Any of the fluids from an excited penis have enough sperm to cause pregnancy, not just the main ejaculate. Proper condom use from beginning to end is necessary if they are to do any good. ...Read more

I took Plan B 8hrs after condom broke, he pulled out. It's been a week and now I've been bleeding for the past 2 days normal? How long should it last?

Plan B: Emergency contraception will definitely affect your cycle and will cause you to bleed in an unpredictable way. Often times it delays ovulation and therefore delays periods, which can make them heavier. I would not expect your bleeding to last more than a week, if it does go see a doctor. ...Read more

I had sex last night and the bottom of the condom broke he pulled out before and I took Plan B can you help I'm really worried I am also on ovulation?

A/W Dr. Novick: Plan B One-Step is up to 89 % effective when taken within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex. It can reduce chance of pregnancy by up to 95% if used within 24 hours. It continues to reduce the risk of pregnancy up to 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected sex, but is less effective as time passes. ...Read more

I took plan b a Saturday because the condom broke, he pulled out right away before he came but there prob was precum, anyways I took plan b 45 mins after and this happened on a Saturday and it's now Friday so it's been a week and I have really bad cramps

What is: Your question?? Sounds like Plan B is working since it's "designed" to give you an aborted pregnancy if that is what happened and it will affect your cycle in any case!

If you miss a period THAT's what you would be "concerned about!
Hope this helps!

I had unprotected sex and took the Plan B pills the day after both at the same time the same day I had sex and the condom broke he pulled out but im s?

Good question: Plan b should be effective for five days to prevent ovulation, tubal transport, or implantation. It's not 100% effective, but it does work well. It should not be relied on for contraception. You took it soon enough to be safe from pregnancy. ...Read more

My partner was using a condom until the condom broke. He pulled out quickly and nothing came out. Suppose to get my period in 4 days. I have cramps.?

Plan B: If this just happened in the last 24 hours obtain and use Plan B. If not, then Good Luck on not getting pregnant as pre-ejaculatory fluids (pre-cum) does contain live sperm that are capable of impregnation in the right vaginal environment. ...Read more

Hi. My boyfriend and I had sex last Friday and the condom broke. He pulled out as soon as it did. I'm on birth control and have been for about a year and a half. What is this brown/red discharge?

Hi. My boyfriend and I had sex last Friday and the condom broke. He pulled out as soon as it did. I'm on birth control and have been for about a year and a half. What is this brown/red discharge?

Where in the cycle?: The brown/ red discharge is most likely not related to the broken condom unless you contracted a STD when it broke. To give you a better answer requires more information about where you were in your cycle and whether or not you are having any other symptoms. It is highly unlikely that it has anything to do with a pregnancy. Hope this helps. ...Read more

Sex broke condom but pulled out 2weeks ago. Had pink/brown/red spotting over four days a week ago. Period was due yesterday. Could I be pregnant??

Sex broke condom but pulled out 2weeks ago. Had pink/brown/red spotting over four days a week ago. Period was due yesterday. Could I be pregnant??

Hard to guess: It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly. One can test about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. An Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate any persistent or worrisome symptoms. ...Read more

Condom broke but he pulled out when he noticed it. I had some spotting over the course of four days and period is due tomorrow. Could I be pregnant??

It's possible: It's certainly possible, but the chance remains pretty low (under 10%) just going by usual chances of conception after a single episode of unprotected sex. If your period does not arrive when it usually would, then a pregnancy test is the thing to do. Otherwise there's no way to tell just yet, so try not to worry, and be safe going forward. Remember Plan B is always an effective safeguard. ...Read more

I had sex the last day of my period protected but I think the condom broke when he pulled out 4 days later I spotted light pink I was wondering why?

Hard to say: Could be a normal variation of your menses (period). If your next period is late, be sure to check a pregnancy test. Remember that condoms alone are not great birth control if the break, slide off or are not used correctly. Also remember that you can get pregnant with unprotected sex during your period. ...Read more
