Can I take Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) with Ativan? Ativan 3 hours after taking Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) like 5mg or 1mg?
Usually no problem: Anxiety and ADHD are problems that are often diagnosed together, and it is no surprise considering how stressful ADHD can be. The important thing here is to make sure that you and the prescriber(s) of your medication have a clear idea of what your diagnoses are, and you all agree on how to treat them. So if you are not sure about combining prescription medication, please have that discussion. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I was prescribed Prozac 40 mg, Ritalin 10 mg, Concerta 108 mg, Remeron 30 mg and Risperdal 3 mg. Is this number of drugs safe?
Depends...: on what you and your doctor decide together. There are theoretically some interactions among the drugs you've listed, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you will experience them. It's difficult to know all of the possible interactions when you have this many medications in combination. Some of the drugs' metabolism could be affected or you may have increased risk of side effects. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Bipolar(controlled -lamictal, carbamazepine), anxiety-semi-under control (lorazepam, temazepam, cymbalta) and ADD problematic- considering Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) ?
So much medication: It might be necessary to take some drugs but I question the risks already and adding the new one is especially bad w/ cymbalta (duloxetine). It can cause severe anxiety! Also serotonin syndrome. Almost all of your meds combine to cause a host of symptoms like dizziness, confusion and general impairment. Please consider a good psych eval and adding good psychotherapy to lower need for Rx and help them work! ...Read more
My doctor gave me Zoloft 50mg risperdal 0.25mg trazadon 50mg Buspar (buspirone) 10mg twice a day ativan 1mg twice isn't 2 match don't make interaction?
All of those meds: Are used together in many people, although starting them all at once is not common, in my experience. Not knowing what kind of symptoms you were having, what your previous medical history and kinds of treatment, i cannot say whether it's too much or not. You should not drive or operate dangerous machinery until you know how these medications effect you. There are no specific interactions. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
