The instructions are very good in the kits so just follow them. As far as doing something to increase the chances of a boy, that is more difficult. There are procedures to select male sperm but it is not clinically available. Search on this website for a previous answer I have given that discusses this. The procedure is called microsort. Other than that, there is no proven way to change the odds.
