Need more informatio: Classification of meniscal tears as a grade is not usually utilized. Grading is typcially an MRI finding. Grade 2 signal implies midsubstance degeneration. If the signal extends to the articular surface it can indicate an actual tear. Mri often finds things that are not symptomatic. A grade 2 mcl tear will typically heal in a brace. Unlikely, medical...: ..tissue is avasccular & does not have great healing ability. PT can help with Ur acute ssx, but the tear is there just waiting 4 the proper movement of the knee 2 raise it's ugly head again. Avoid deep squats, cutting 2 the side of the tear. It can happen in bed @ nite, sleeping alone. Has an ortho Cn U yet, if not it would B a good idea. ...Read more
