Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a condition in which a person has a chronic pain problem in his arms or legs, but can also be in other parts of his body. Perhaps the pain is due to problems with the nerves in the area, or there may be a problem with the immune system, leading to inflammation (redness, warmth, and swelling).
