Complex Ovarian Cyst With Septation
My daughter diagnosed Complex Ovarian Cyst with septation and debris. 4.3 cyst. Pain and fear. Do these cyst normslly require surgery?
No: Most of the time in young women these cysts are functional/hemorrhagic cysts and resolve by themselves. If they keep enlarging, or become more symptomatic, surgery may be indicated. If there are imaging features suggestive of tumor rather than just hemorrhagic cyst surgery might also be indicated. ...Read more

26yrs old. Have a complex ovarian cyst with septations and internal echos and is avascular. Does this mean I have ovarian cancer? I'm really scared
I have a complex ovarian cyst with septations and debris about 14ml in volume. It was 7ml 3 months ago. It's now pressing against my colon. Treatment?
Talk to your GYN: Your personal GYN can best answer for your specific case, but generally if the cyst is enlarging and causing symptoms by pressing against your colon it may be best treated surgically. Complex ovarian cyst w/intern.Septations, submuc. Fibroids, nabothian cysts, liver cyst, hernia. All new w/in last 8 weeks. Possible cancer? Type?
Slow down a bit...: Ok, you have a lot of issues just recently identified. I'm doubtful you have any cancer. Your biggest concern appears to be the ovarian cyst, which is probably benign, but you need to be evaluated by your gyn. The hernia is an elective process, and the liver cyst is probably congenital. Fibroids and nabothian cyst can also be evaluated by your gyn. Take a breath and make an appointment. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Cancer? 12cm complex ovarian cyst/tumor with blood flow throughout septations. And elevated 5.7 ova 1 test. Can't see oncologist for 3 weeks. Worried
No emergency: The OVA1® test is not an indicator of ovarian cancer and is not much better than Ca125. It measures levels of five proteins found in the blood and then uses software to calculate a single score measured by using a 0-10 scale.. Women who are pre-menopausal have a cut off of 5.0 whereas postmenopausal women have a 4.4 cutoff. A high OVA1® score is not a diagnosis of cancer, rather it indicates risk and should not force an emergency situation for treating a complex hemorrhagic cyst ...Read more
