Too young: If you are having regular periods then you are not at risk for hot flashes or early menopause. Sounds like you are having more of a vasodilation effect from the cold. This has more to do with your parasympathetic nervous system than hormones. Also consider getting your thyroid checked as that can cause temperature misregulation. Withdrawal?: You don't say what the meds are but there are a bunch that the body gets used to and if stopped abruptly you can have symptoms. That is why a medicine should never be stopped without dr advice. I'm sorry it is taking do long for your dr to respond to your refill request. ...Read more
