If the patient is in good condition the primary if not resected should be removed. Chemo with FOLFOX and possibly avastin (bevacizumab) should be attempted. Are there any new cancer drugs for colon cancer spread to the liver?  My father is very ill and needs help.

Consider new trials: If i were in your father's position, i would consider being in a research trial (if one is available) for metastatic colon cancer. None of the approved therapies for this is curative; they are all palliative. I would probably favor something with an immune-based approach rather than a cell poison, if any such trial is available. Capecitabine: His case will need proper review in terms of what chemo therapeutic agents he had already received in past. Capecitabine or Xeloda (capecitabine) not a good choice in pts with myocarditis as it is know to causes coronary spasm and angina type symptoms also.
