What to do if i found a tiny bumb on my collar bone could it be cancer?

I have 2 lumps, both sides of my upper chest 2 in. Below the collar bones. No symptoms of cancer, tender to touch. Doc said it was ligament strain. ?

Unusual: It is unusual that ligament strain would result in lumps. The other information that i would want to know is if you are male vs female. In females, i would make sure of a recent breast examination, as cysts can occur. The other other possibility are lipomas, which are soft deposits of fat within the skin tissues. Lipomas are very common and usually are not cancerous. ...Read more

My clavicle bone is protruding outward & sore, I've had this for years, the pain comes & goes, but bone is getting biggger, could this be bone cancer?

Sounds worrisome: I wouldn't delay seeing a local doctor with those symptoms. It could be an old fracture evolving (if you had an injury), but less likely since it has been for years. There are both benign (non-cancerous) bone tumors and cancerous bone tumors (various bone sarcomas). You need a simple X-ray of the clavicle area and to be evaluated by an orthospedic surgeon or sports medicine specialist. ...Read more
