Unusual: It is unusual that ligament strain would result in lumps. The other information that i would want to know is if you are male vs female. Sounds worrisome: I wouldn't delay seeing a local doctor with those symptoms. It could be an old fracture evolving (if you had an injury), but less likely since it has been for years. ?subluxation: Look in the mirror. Is there a prominence in one collar bone compared to the other? If so sometimes the collar bone can move as it is a joint.
