Is thermage fda approved as a cellulite treatment? I read that thermage is a cellulite treatment that uses radio waves to shrink fat cells and cause my skin to produce collagen. Is this treatment fda approved to reduce cellulite and stimulate collagen pro
FDA Cleared: The fda approves medical devices based largely on safety (rather than both safety and effectiveness as for drugs). Therefore, we should not view the fda approval of thermage as a guarantee that it does all that it is purported to. For devices, fda clearance states that the device is not likely to harm you if used properly. Unlike drugs it does not imply that it is effective. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

However, it is a good idea to start at a low dose and increase the dose over time to avoid intestinal side-effects. Best wishes! ...Read more
