You may have a gall bladder duct obstruction or possibly a liver problem. You should be evaluated by a gastroenterologist or surgeon as soon as possible. Your primary doctor can monitor your bilirubin levels and order an ultrasound until you are seen by the specialist. ...Read more

I have floating stools sometimes there soft and sometimes they are hard and frequency changes everyday and pain in stomach that moves round any ideas?

Keep a diary : Stool characteristics change with what you eat. Mild abdominal cramping due to need to defecate may also change in position as the colon loops around your entire abdomen. In absence of other symptoms such as fever, weight loss, nausea vomiting, severe abd pain, I don't think you need to worry. You could keep a diary of your diet and your bowel habits and see if any foods cause discomfort. ...Read more

Flares may occur acutely, even after an unremarkable colon evaluation. Don't delay in ruling out superimposed infection, & seeking help from your gastroenterologist. Call him/her now-- ...Read more
