Refux and gas in bai: Reflux is very common in all infants and it is due to the gasto-esophageal junction which gradually matures as infant gets older, usually at 9-12 months. There is no need for medications for reflux unless the infant is not gaining weight. However gas is a different matter. Infants who seem to have a lot of abdomial pain have colic.
