For the past few months I have had a few different types of sensations running through my head. It can be a hot, cold, tingling, numb, or a combo?
Need examination: Hard to say what that variety of sensations could be. You're not saying they are headaches and if they are strictly limited to the HEAD then, you definitely may want to talk to a neurologist so they can examine you further and possibly consider an imaging study of some sort. You're welcome to set up a private appointment with me through www. Healthtap. Com/drsaghafi since I'm a neurologist anyways
My limbs turn blue and cold. Slurred speech, say wrong words, weakness, severe pain, confusion, crawling sensations and tingling in head. And more...
Be seen ASAP: Even an ER visit may be wise if you never had these symptoms before and know of no good explanation - even if you do know you used a risky drug, etc. These sound potentially serious. Get help, don't drive yourself! Call 911 if no one can take you in.
Sensitivity, anxiety: Sensation in the scalp is mediated by the trigeminal system, which can cause tingling in the head, even soreness when combing your hair. What activates the trigeminal system? Stress, tension or migraine headaches, gum or tooth disease or recent dental, or a tight headband. The trigeminal system gets stirred up easily by these and other things, but usually comes down in days to weeks.
See a neurologist: If symptoms have been ongoing for weeks or more then see a neurologist. It may be a pinched nerve in the neck. More detailed history and examination is needed.
Need further info: There are a lot of questions to ask so that I may understand what he is experiencing such as date of onset, frequency, duration, anatomical location, other sxs, etc. If interested, he can make an appointment to speak with me further online at www. Tingling: In order to get an adequate diagnosis you need to check with your physician. He will obtain an adequate history and perform an exam and determine if you need testing to establish a diagnosis and treatment. Possibilities are too numerous and not limited to the : normal (no disease), allergies, allodynia in migraines, diabetes, vitamin B12 deficiency, skin conditions.

I've been having a tingling sensation on the back right side of my head. Its been going on for 2 days now and comes and goes during the day. What is it?
Head tingling: This is a difficult question to answer without more information. Are their other accompanying symptoms such as headaches or visual changes? You would probably need to visit with your local family physician in order for her to take a more solid history and examination. Good luck to you and have a great day.
Bruising: The nerve endings in your scalp are bruised and don't be alarmed. Worrisome symptoms include passing out, vomiting, seizure, weakness on one side of your body, increasing headache etc. (imagine those boxers getting punched incessantly in ten rounds of boxing and most of them just do fine. Now if you are hit with a golf club, that's another story). Take care!
