Maybe...but: It could be the flu. However, the symptoms you describe are general and nonspecific. It sounds infectious but it could be any kind of infection. Do you have any other symptoms? You should get checked out. ...Read more

Sounds like a virus: Could even be influenza. If it ha been less than72 hoes since onset of symptoms seek care immediately as there are ends for influenza. Otherwise it is supportive care like Mucinex (guaifenesin) dm if coughing or plain if not. Aleve2 twice a day or Ibuprofen 4 three times a day for the aches and sweats. You can gargle with hot salty water for throat. Sit in hot shower feels good too. Rest! ...Read more
