I have a spot in my arm that has red irritated skin with small fluid filled bumps. I have cold sores and am wondering if it could be related to that.?

Toothpaste?: Could be from toothpaste but is unusual. Do you think you might have been exposed to herpes simplex virus. Kissed a boy with a cold sore recently? Or do you have history of cold sores. Eczema possibly: The elbow is a common spot for eczema to flare up. If there is a history of eczema, allergies or asthma it increases chance of it being eczema. If there is no concern that it is infected a trial of a low dose over the counter steroid could be tried to see it improves.
