Isolated celiac: artery aneurysm is a rare condition. You should be happy that embolization was successful. I don't think you will suffer any remote complications from the procedure itself. Major concern would be development of any other aneurysms in other parts of your body, such as brain or any genetic defect. No effect: I am guessing you are being tested for retinal function. This will involve flashing lights and electrodes to pick up the signal. An alternative test is for nerve transmission with flashing lights and electrodes on the back of the head. Neither of these tests will interact with your platinum coils. You are lucky: for under going successful treatment , those untreated ones will have disastrous out comes . Once vessel is occluded ( thrombosed ) will not allow the coil displaced , don't worry , but you need close follow up by your doctor .Good Luck ...Read more
