Coconut Oil For Fertility
Pros of coconut oil: ...contains good mono- & polyunsaturated fats, & has no trans fat. Also, virgin coconut oil might have a positive effect on cholesterol levels & help protect against heart disease. Keep in mind its still high in saturated fat so don't replace all your cooking oil with it, use in moderation, & figure into your daily calorie & fat count. (Ref. Bhg. Com)
Monounsaturated oils: Consider avocado oil for both cooking and as an ingredient for most things you'd do with coconut oil. Avoid dietary fat sources which contain trans fats; consider nut oils, avocado oil, or extra virgin olive oil as good alternatives.
Coconut oil: There are no known, scientifically proven health benefits, above and beyond consumption as food calories for energy from coconut oil.
Not really: Coconut oil actually is not healthy but it is a good alternative to butter and margarine for baking purposes. Its main fat, a saturated fat called lauric acid, may have some anti-infection benefits and is believed tor raise good cholesterol. However, few studies in humans have actually been done. Most studies done are from brazil and philippines, where coconut products are a major export.See 1 more doctor answer
Stick to basics: Sunburn is response of the tissues to injury from solar radiation. It is simply inflammation which means increase blood flow to the area to promote healing. Do not use ice as this can injure already injured skin. Cool water soaks can help as can taking anti-inflammation medicines like Motrin or advil (ibuprofen). Avoid any further damage as this can cause scarring. Good skin cream applied daily/gently helps.See 1 more doctor answer

Sort of.: Coconut oil is a very light moisturizer that sinks in quickly, which appeals to a lot of people. It works well for some, but not those with very dry skin, as it does not moisturize deeply enough. It also tends to clog pores. That doesn’t bother some people, but if you have a tendency to get clogged pores (blackheads, etc), coconut oil might exacerbate that problem.
Moisturizes/protects: I'm not aware of research studies showing to what degree coconut oil helps sunburn but many people claim it helps. It moisturizes and protect the skin and has antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. It may be best combined with other natural remedies as discussed in this article: http://www. Bustle.
