What are the symptoms of having a herniated disk in the lower back?I have numbness and tingling in the lower back when sitting?

Many symptoms...: While this could be a sign of a herniated disc, it sounds a little more like facet arthritis as it does not radiate to different areas and does not have a constant dull ache. That being said, a physical exam and imaging would be necessary to be sure. If you are concerned about an actual herniation, then I would recommend seeing a physician for an exam to be safe. ...Read more

Cubital tunnel: Entrapment of the ulnar nerve at the elbow (funny bone) is common. Usually aggravated with bending of elbow: while sleeping, working at desk, driving a car, all of which we tend to flex the elbow and create increased tension on the ulnar nerve. Symptoms of bowelmovements of only mucus and jelly fish like things. leg arm feet numbness and tingling. upper and lower back pain. wbc of 14.8?

This requires eval: Your symptoms and signs (white count of 14,800) are numerous and only an in-person evaluation/examination can adequately assess them. I might think of some form of infectious colitis with your mucus BM's and elevated WBC count; the numbness/tingling and pain could be something entirely different. I believe the best advice is go to ER (or your doc's office if you can get in today!) Good wishes:) ...Read more

I have been sick for 9 months. Do I have cidp? Symptoms are: extreme fatigue, numbness/weakness in my legs, arms, hands, feet and lower back pain

Impossible to say: Unlikely that you have cidp or acute immune polyneuritis, but some of your problems might be due to peripheral nerve issues. An EMG test done expertly could assist. Another question might involve a process such as multiple sclerosis, but that too cannot be confirmed in absence of MRI images. Spinal fluid analysis might be useful. Seek out a neurologist and pin down precise answer. ...Read more
