What is CP: You certainly need to discuss this with your phyician . This group of signs and symptoms may have a very simple explanation. Also they may all not be related. See your doctor: One thing that comes to mind is the possibility of enlarged and possibly infected Bartholin's cysts. The Bartholin glands are around the vaginal lips and can become blocked, creating a cyst or sometimes an abscess. Abscesses need to be drained and can cause infection further than just the vulvo-vaginal area.This could explain your pelvic pain. Please see your doc for proper diagnosis and treatment ...Read more

Probably not: It may be within normal range, difficult to assess without the images and the description of "mildly" heterogeneous echotexture. Also, that is an ultrasound description of findings, not MRI. Which did you have? ...Read more

I had an ultrasound done of the abdomen and they found an isoechoic lesion of the lateral left hepatic lobe, it measured 4cm. Does isoechoic mean a solid mass? My ultrasound was done because I was experiencing lower back pain and bloating.

I had an ultrasound done of the abdomen and they found an isoechoic lesion of the lateral left hepatic lobe,  it measured 4cm.  Does isoechoic mean a solid mass? My ultrasound was done because I was experiencing lower back pain and bloating.

Isoechoic: is a descriptive term that means the lesion is similar in grayness/brightness to adjacent liver tissue. It does imply a solid lesion, however. Most of these incidental liver masses in your age group, assuming no history of cancer, turn out to be benign, usually hemangiomas. You made need to have an additional test, usually CT or MRI, to show that it is a hemangioma vs something else ...Read more
