Cloves - benefits: Cloves have many benefits. They can be used for dental pain, inflammation of mouth or throat, bad breath, as an expectorant and for gastrointestinal problems. The only possible negative thing i can imagine with chewing on cloves (& this is stretching it) would be biting down on one and damaging an area of weakened tooth. So...I take nattokinase and raw garlic (2-3 cloves a day). Is this likely to affect a D dime result significantly i.e. making it a false negative?
Not likely: The D-dimer test has a very high sensitivity (about 95%) so the likelihood of false negative is very low. Glover and nattokinase does not affect the sensitivity to anyone's knowledge. ...Read more
