Many benign options: If asymptomatic the most probable explanation is urinary phosphates. They come out of solution when the urine is alkaline and look "cloudy" then later, when the urine is acidic again, the phosphates will be in solution and when you void, you won't see them. Might be nothing: It could be nothing, but it could represent some protein in the urine. If it is fairly constant, you should see your doctor and have a urinalysis. Usually an infection will cause some burning and urgency to pee, but sometimes an infection can be without much in the way of symptoms, so get the urinalysis and maybe a culture to be sure. ...Read more

Two basic issues: If urine is cloudy it means either it is very concentrated (kids not taking enough fluids) or there is something foreign in it (bladder infection) if she is fever free, the latter is less likely & you can push fluids or food with lots of fluid value like jello, applesauce to see if it improves over the weekend. Unclear, but...: Before being diagnosed to have IC, I am sure you had been treated with antibiotics. If so, have antibiotics helped you improve UTI-related Sx - dysuria, frequency, & urgency, but bladder irritation still persists. Then you might have IC with superimposed UTI. Cloudy urine: This can be due to dehydration, but commonly is due to the sudden change in the pH when it hits the toilet water causing materials otherwise soluble in urine to precipitate out.
