UTI again?: You can have a urinary tract infection without a fever. Best thing to do is get checked out a have a urinalysis with urine culture (where they look for bacteria in your urine). The doctor who sees you will probably prescribe an antibiotic (depending on the result of the urinalysis). ...Read more

No: Trace leucocytes & trace protein are within normal limits & may be simple contaminants such as from vaginal epithelial cells. Presumably nitrite was negative which would have indicated baceria in your urine. Urine culture from a mid stream specimen, separating labia to avoid contamination, after cleansing with soap towlettes, would be more definitative for uti. That way you and your dr. Possible but..: Sudden severe pain needs to be evaluated. A bladder infection is certainly one possibility. Appendicitis is another and is life threatening. Severe pain where someone can not even lie flat should be evaluated urgently by their doctor or emergency room. ...Read more
