Weak inhibitor: Topamax (topiramate) is a weak inhibitor of the cyp2c19 enzyme. This enzyme is responsible for the metabolism of several drugs including Phenytoin (dilantin). Therefore, the concomitant use of Dilantin and topamax (topiramate) may be associated with increased Dilantin levels. Since clopidgrel is a platelet suppressing, clot-slowing agent, best check clotting with & without whatever trial dosage.
