Possible, yes: but highly unlikely. Oral swabs are usually part of a kit that is looking only for drugs of abuse, like opiates, cocaine, amphetamines, cannabis, PCP and others. Clonidine, while it can be abused, particularly together with opiates, is not a common drug of abuse and is not tested for specifically. I've had blood tests done and just started clonidine yesterday because im going through the menopause and now im bleeding is this normal?
Not likely: First, one does not "go through" menopause. One "arrives"…..There is no turning back! at age 37, it is very doubtful that you are menopausal. You probably do have some perimenopausal ovarian dysfunction, hence the abnormal lab value and hence the abnormal bleeding. Clonidine is not the answer. ...Read more
