Clomid Injectables And Iui
How much higher are our chances of getting pregnant with clomid, (clomiphene) hCG shot, OPK and IUI rather than just clomid, (clomiphene) opk, and iui????
Intrauterine insemination (iui) is where fresh or frozen partner or donor sperm is prepared or 'washed' to increase the sperm quality then gently injected through your cervix after a speculum exam, like a pap smear exam. It should be painless or cause mild cramping only. Iui helps with mild to moderate sperm problems. Iui preparations should have at least 2 million moving ...Read more
Are injectibles with IUI more successful than Clomid (clomiphene) with iui? We are thinking about doing our first round of IUI with Clomid (clomiphene) only.
Some patient groups: In some patient populations, and for some diagnoses 'yes, ' for others success rates are pretty similar. Injectible drugs always have a significantly higher chance of multiple conception than oral drugs. ...Read more
How many inseminations per cycle will be given to a women using Clomid (clomiphene) (or injectables) with iui?
One or two per cycle: One to two per cycle - if one insemination (iui) per cycle we schedule it on the day of expected ovulation (egg release), if two we do one IUI the day before ovulation as well. Two IUI is a slightly higher pregnancy rate than one, but not double. Have intercourse 2-3 times a week as well. Your wife should see a rei (infertility specialist) if not pregnant after three cycles of clomid (clomiphene). ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

5th IUI yesterday done with Clomid and higher dose of Gonal F (follitropin alfa). 33 million sperm and 2 follicles this IUI. Can this work or IVF required? Unexplained
Took Clomid (clomiphene) 50 mg, 5 gonal injection, pregnyl injection. Did sex in ovulation days . Why i may not be pregnant?
Common: The in general the chance of not being pregnant is much higher than the chance of being pregnant. You may have a 10% chance of being pregnant and a 90% chance of not being pregnant. That is because the treatment does not affect fertilization, take into account egg quality, help the sperm, or deal with the tubes. So the vast majority of women will not get pregnant at any given treatment. ...Read more

Diminished ovarian reserve with low egg supply. Would u rec Clomid (clomiphene) with IUI or injectable with iui. I am 35 years old?
Yes, IVF is better: At age 39 with DOR, you may try few cycles Clomid (clomiphene) IUI, but IVF is a better option. The reason is with DOR, you don't have many embryos to work with. On the other hand, if you do IVF, you may bank embryos and do FET later. At age 39, I strongly recommend to do Pre-implantation genetic screening (PGS) of your embryos prior to transfer. It will increase your change of pregnancy and reduce miscarriage ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
What are the ovulation success rates on low (50iu) FSH injections in Clomid (clomiphene) resistance patients?
Good rates, long tim: Fsh will usually stimulate the ovaries very well. The concern is that too many eggs will stimulate and that is why we use a low dose protocol when not doing ivf. The key is patience. It may take 3-4 weeks of injections before the ovulation will occur. If little effect the dose is increased. Sometimes too many eggs will become mature anyway and the cycle will need to be cancelled. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Clomid (clomiphene) and multiple births? What are the chances of twins with clomid (clomiphene)? I'm starting Clomid (clomiphene) and i'm not sure i want multiple births.
May be normal: Ovulation likely happens about 5-7 days after your last Clomid (clomiphene) pill. If the pain is more than moderate, see your doctor right away. There's a small chance a cyst or bleeding can develop on the ovaries after using clomid (clomiphene). Some mild to moderate pain that lasts a day or two is probably normal. ...Read more

No big difference: Studies show pregnancy rates are identical starting cc on cd 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. The main difference is starting later its less likely to have a persistent cyst from the past cycle. For patients not monitored by ultrasound cd 5 may be a better choice, with monitoring it makes little-to- no difference. ...Read more
Yes: Parlodel is a good treatment for hyperprolactinemia (too much prolactin hormone), and some patients conceive with it alone or combined with other fertility treatments. Clomid (clomiphene) can be used to induce ovulation (egg release) in many women who don't have regular cycles, or to cause 2-3 eggs to ovulate instead of one. About 10% success per month in under 35's; most pregnancies in the first 3-4 months. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Clomid (clomiphene) help to increase FSH and LH to trigger ovulation, FSH and LH produce estrogen for lining , but why some drs say Clomid (clomiphene) will thin lining?
Antiestrogen: Clomid (clomiphene) works by blocking estrogen in your brain and pituitary gland. This makes the hormones rise which stimulate your eggs to grow. Unfortunately, it also blocks estrogen at the cervix and at your uterine lining. This can harm cervical mucus and make your uterus less receptive. ...Read more
