Clogged Ears After Working Out
Tinnitus in left ear decided to use ear drops. 9 days later ear full of wax after pulling out the goo , still ringing ear still blocked :-( syringe?
Syringe may help: They sell cleaning kits for ears in the pharmacies which have large syringes. I always advise to use warm soapy water for these types of cleanings. At the same time, I advise caution when doing anything with the ear canal & if you're not sure of what you are doing or if things are going the right way then you should stop and see your doctor. Much better that than to cause any sort of complication. ...Read more
Pressure in the middle ear is ideally equal to environmental pressure. It is corrected by the eustachian tube, which connects from the middle ear to the back of nose. The popping that occurs when one goes in an airplane is the eustachian tube opening to equalize ear pressure. When pressures differ, the ear drum can be sucked in or bulge out. With this fluid can accumulate ...Read more

My ear is blocked (pressure and lost hearing) after using the neil med sinus rinse. I tried yawning to pop it and a q-tip. How can I unblock my ear?
Wax Impaction: You probably moistened a near complete wax impaction and made the blockage complete. This may require an ENT doctor to fix but you can try dissolving the wax. Debrox and Cerumenex are good at this. I suggest repeat usage several times a day until the wax dissolves. If it doesn't after a day or two time to see the doctor. Seeing a ENT rather than your pcp is recommended. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
