I have been diagnosed w MRSA in the wound. My md has been treating it with clindamycin and after 4 days the wound is still draining.?

Give it time.: Infections seldom resolve in 4 days, especially mrsa. Daily warm-water wet dressings may speed the process by increasing circulation to the site. If it's still draining in 7-10 days, or if it gets worse, you'll need to get back to your doctor. ...Read more

I'm 37 wks. 50%/2cm. I have MRSA near my rectum. Abcess is not open and I'm currently taking Clindamycin. Can I still deliver vaginally?

It depends: It depends on where it is in relation to the vagina and when you go into labor. If it is perineal, there could be an increased risk of spreading the infection. Staphylococcus: Now a days many of us are colonized with MRSA. It doesn't necessarily mean we will develop any increased infection rates as compared to MSSA which is also all over us.
