See below: I assume you are talking about a strep. Throat. This is usually treated with Penicillin VK or amoxicillin. Oral cephalosporins are the next choice. When taking clindamycin capsules for BV should I be symptom free on the last day..if not symptom free does that mean resistance or longer dose needed?
Possibly: If not symptom free it could mean that you have clindamycin-resistant strain of the bacteria. I would see your doctor and discuss possible alternative therapies.
