I started using cleocin (clindamycin phosphate) vaginal cream. Is it all suppose to come out in the morning?
Depends: Cleocin (clindamycin phosphate) is a medical cream containing the antibiotic clindamycin. It requires a physician's perscription. If placed at bedtime, it is not unusual for some to liquefy abd drain upon standing in the morning. To avoid excess drainage try to place high in the canal. As long as it remains in the canal for 6 hours or so it should still be effective. Use for 7 days.

Not much: You should not expect many side effects since it is a vaginal cream. You will notice some of the cream come out. Sometimes people get yeast infections after.

Get re-checked: With the symptoms still present, you may need an antibiotic by mouth possibly, best wishes.
Varies: It could take 3 to 7 days for you to have improvement in your symptoms when using this mediation to treat bv.
How long after using clindamycin phosphate vaginal cream USP 2% can I expect all the cream discharge to stop?
1-2 days after: It will stop when it is all absorbed or comes out which is usually a day after you finish. If it lasts longer or shorter it's not a big deal. Messy but should not be a health concern to you at all and should not cause any issues.
Whenver you like: You may have sex whenever you like. It may be abit messy but not dangerous.

Clindamycin: You should have no trouble at all using the 2% cream.
Clindamycin: Clindamycin vaginal may contain ingredients that can weaken a condom and cause it to break. An unintended pregnancy could result. Avoid using a condom as a birth control method while you are using clindamycin vaginal and for at least 3 days after your treatment ends. It should not affect oral birth control measures.
If stored properly: If the Clindamycin was stored in a cool, dry place, then it should be usable for up to two years past its' expiration date.

No: No, but it will kill any bacteria on your penis and it doesn't "taste" very good for "dining out".
Can clindamycin vaginal cream and flagyl orally taken, be used together for bv and pid. Should I take diflucan as precaution to yeast side effect?
Anti-fungal: I recommend that all of my female patients when taken any antibiotic be given a prescription for Diflucan. Antibiotics which killed a normal flora both in the mouth and in the vaginal region may predispose patients to developing yeast infections. I recommend that you always asks for generic Diflucan and have this on hand in case it is needed.
