Clindamycin Antibiotic Delays Period

The short answer is still, no. If your period remains delayed it would be worth a visit to the doctor ...Read more

BV "blues": Bacterial vaginitis itself can alter or delay your period even while it is being treated by Clindamycin if it is severe enough. Does taking Vaginal Antibiotics decrease the effects of Primulot N? I took 3 Clindamycin while taking them and got my period! Can I be back on pills?
It's possible: There are some reports that Clindamycin, even used vaginally, can decrease progesterone levels which might promote breakthrough bleeding.
